So here we are, ladies and gentlemen, to the video titled ‘thrust’! The essay a few days ago preambled the what, plus the little videos hopefully gave you an image of what shape we need to assume in order to get the spinal 8 moving.
I want to reiterate here how important ‘fun’ is in this process. Fun helps us access more parts of ourselves, as I can contest being someone more prone to the serious, glum and often gloomy parts of life. Grated they built a certain resilience when I finally broke through to a more chirpy and sunny deposition, but actually having fun inside a movement unquestionably unlocks aspects of ourselves which are worth our time expressing.
I write this because I am asking you to dis-inhibit and really give it a go, for when you do, something magical can happen, and this magic is the feeling of quiet. Not necessarily quiet in that of a cloister, but more the quiet mind when it is fully absorbed in the sound, vision and wonder of experiencing life. If you fully commit to giving ‘thrust’ a go, whilst doing your best to apply and feel each of the five points, you’ll get a Postural Workout which may well be revolutionary to how you think of, and experience your body.
Welcome to the beginning of the spinal 8!
