Did you do any practice? If you did, how did you get on?
I know that a week isn’t that long to get basic fundamental's plumbed into you nervous system, but in the absence of being in a class with a living teacher, my intent here is to keep this almost frustratingly simple. The idea is to encourage you to just do it, for there is an absence of descriptions, reasoning and unnecessary chatter, so that you’ll hopefully just get on and do the simple movements.
The trouble is that these simple movements can be challenging in and of themselves. For instance, the initial move of contracting your buttocks can be pretty frustrating if they’re currently but flat and under used. But if you stick with it for one month, you’ll find not only will they contract more deeply, but standing and balance will feel easier too.
Here, the element of digestibility spoken of in the essay accompanying week two is two is two-fold. For one is making sure that the practice takes under ten minutes, and the second addresses the release of unnecessary tensions in your abdomen, which will literally lead to better digestion.
Then absence of any justification on why you should do it, and what you should be doing with anything other than what is specified in the video is deliberate, as I will delight in sharing the sparking gems of answers to these and more questions in upcoming videos for paid subscribers.
So for now, happy practice, and you may well find this more challenging than it sounds and appears.
